The rooms are not ours

This is a theme demonstration. The studio, the projects, the clients and the descriptions are invented — no real practice is depicted, and none of these rooms was designed by anybody connected to this site.

The photographs are real interiors by real photographers, used here under the Creative Commons licences they were published with and credited individually in the theme’s CREDITS.md. Photographs of famous, authored buildings were deliberately excluded: presenting somebody’s landmark as a fictional studio’s project would be a false claim about a real work, which a disclaimer does not fix.

The colours are real

Every palette on this site was measured by the theme from the photographs on the page — sampled, converted to Lab, clustered, and ordered by how much of the room each colour actually covers. Nobody typed a hex value anywhere, including for the terrazzo floor behind this text, whose chips are cast from the same measurement.

That is the point of the theme: replace the photographs with your own and the whole site recolours itself, correctly, without anyone opening a colour picker.
